Taraval Streetscape Improvements Project

Project Information:
The Taraval Streetscape improvement project extends from46th to 48th Avenue in the city’s Outer Sunset district.  Taraval Street serves as a local commercial district for the surrounding residential neighborhood.  The renovation will provide a safer and more inviting environment for pedestrians, motorists and transit riders.
 
The project is currently in the planning phase and the streetscape improvements may include sidewalk bulb-outs at key intersections, crosswalk enhancements, light fixture upgrades, new plantings, site furnishings, and possibly a gateway feature.
